As usual. . A triple osc was used. I played with the different possibilities. . . Sine, triangle, saw, square waves were used here. It may cause damage on high volume (maybe?). Effects: phaser, reverb. After recording, the entire soundshape was inverted.

A field-recording taken at a local animal park (germany). It was an early morning in spring and there were hardly any people there yet. The area, where we sat down, was surrounded by trees. Numerous birds were chirping and crows were cawing. A few farm animals like sheep can be heard in the recording at times as well as a one of the caretakers starting a vehicle in the distance.

Sound made with the alienspaceweaver vst. Effects: reverb, delay, echo.

A very simple experiment i made for fun, using kinda low quality processed recordings. I tried to create some kind of alien soundscape vaguely inspired by half-life xen, especially the black mesa version.

Deep notes created with a osc, shaped with the "aetereal" and "alienspace weaver" vst's. Effects: echo, reverb.

A simple hi-hat turned down to 31 bpm, (key: c, major pentatonic), repeated and "randomized". Effects are made with a squeeze filter.

I only use a triple osc and i took an advantage of the several asio bugs of my soundcard. I don't mix the sound. I've re-recorded that shape 17 times, after that, i applied massive echo and reverb filters. 3 osc, echo, reverb, compressor. For this record, i've deleted the major part of the notes. Some new settings of the echo filter, are applied.

Argentina, tierra del fuego - in a farm close to ushuaia, during the "patagonian rodeo". Once a year, the farmers go in line through the fields and the forest, screaming and whistling, in order to send the sheep to the corner of the field, and take them to the farm for the sheep's shave. They can't see each other but can recognize themselves with their specific screams and keep in line. This ambience is a bit more earth-like compared to its predecessor, though any sound used here is either created from scratch or recorded: i used my own voice for the "bird" sounds and a crickets chirping recording for some background noise. Aside from myself and the crickets, no other animal was recorded to create this sound, so i think it's fair to define it as "alien".
